The Beach has announced his second single ‘From Above’, the follow up to his debut ‘Thieves’ which was released at the beginning of the year.

Epic crescendos meet complex acoustic playing with surging pulses of electronica on ‘From Above’. It creates an incredible atmospheric track that is richly melodic with stabs of experimentalism. Rhythms and melodies intertwine to startling effect and help highlight a new distinctive voice in British music.

Already The Beach has received exclusive plays at Radio 1 from Annie Mac and her predecessor Zane Lowe.

Known to his friends as George Morgan, The Beach is a musical project unlike most. Recording in a cupboard-sized studio in a Clapham high rise block, he has been locked away from the outside world with his producer Max Hosinger, an ex-next door neighbour. With little outside musical influence The Beach has produced music that is endlessly fascinating and heralds a new distinctive voice in British music.

After relentlessly playing at open mic nights for the last two years The Beach has put a band together that brings his epic bedroom productions to life. He will next appear at The Great Escape in Brighton as part of the Communion show on Friday 15th May.
