‘Rule The World’ sees Skott push the boundaries of her experimental, songwriting. The ethereal soundscape enchants with delicate vocals that dance atop a mesmerising blend of intricate ambient textures and folksy guitar.

Speaking about the single Skott said “To me, this song is a she. The production is soft, subtle yet strong and effective. With only a few elements, the chorus still hits in some mysterious way, without any impact or build-up. It’s like She gently rolls into your brain without using any “worldly” physical force. The song is about a slightly different way of experiencing and exercising power. It’s about being optimistic and hopeful about the future.

The full EP ‘A Letter From The Universe’ continues a visceral theme, with each soundscape conjuring scenes of fantasy, drama and science fiction.  Skott experiments with new dynamics and emotions in her storytelling, resulting in a body of work that ranges from some of her most minimalistic and experimental songs to date.

The EP follows Skott’s debut album ‘Always Live For Always’ released in 2020. Tracks from the album were supported by the likes of BBC Radio 1, The Times, Billboard, NME, The Line Of Best Fit, Pigeons & Planes, Earmilk, Idolator, Refinery 29 and PAPER Magazine to name but a few.

The artist’s genre-defying debut single ‘Porcelain’ catapulted her to overnight stardom, the track amassed tens of millions of plays across streaming platforms and secured the approval of megastars Katy Perry and Lorde in the process. Releases to date have amassed over 100 million streams, reached #1 globally on Hype Machine, and presented opportunities for the artist to support acts like MØ and Phantogram.

Skott has headlined tours in both Europe and the US, a global takeover that stands in stark contrast to the small wooded Swedish village of Vikarbyn where Skott grew up, known for its traditional customs and own language. However, it is this unique way of life and upbringing that has enabled Skott to truly walk her own path and create a world entirely of her own. In the delicate process of writing and recording her debut album, Skott searched for a way to release new music without having to compromise on her creative vision. When the opportunity presented itself, she started her own record label, ‘Dollar Menu’.
