Thrilled to share with you some gorgeous new music, courtesy of Charmfactory’s newest family member – Bristol based Maybug.

Maybug is the alias of Bristol based singer-songwriter Joseph Dunn. Writing organic, and deeply soulful music – the outcome is something that is undoubtedly heartfelt, imaginative, and moving – with a sound that is both rooted in musical history, but with a welcome, modern slant. 

Today sees him reveal ‘Out To Sea’ – the first track to be heard from his debut EP ‘Pollen Odyssey’, out September 18th, 2015. The track premiered on The Line Of Best Fit yesterday, but can also be streamed over at Clash, and below.

Speaking on the track, Dunn explains that “It [Out to Sea] is a song about how there are times that I struggle with my state of mind, but that’s OK, and not a completely bad thing – and that it is a part of who I am. And also letting go and forgiving myself for that. It is also a thank you to those people who took the time to help me, and how I look forward to being able to help them out whenever they should need it.”

Maybug’s debut EP ‘Pollen Odyssey’ is out September 18th.
