Hudson Taylor will release their new single ‘Chasing Rubies’ through Polydor on October 5th. ‘Chasing Rubies’ is the latest in a string of stirring folk-pop songs released by brothers Harry and Alfie. The young duo who hail from the outskirts of Dublin have come to the attention of fans and critics alike with a series of rapturously-received EPs and singles. Hudson Taylor have amassed a huge underground following and are on the verge of a big breakthrough with the rousing anthem of ‘Chasing Rubies’.

As well as establishing itself as a firm live favourite, an acoustic version of ‘Chasing Rubies’ has been streamed over one million times on Spotify and has had over one million Youtube views. The single has just been Huw Stephen’s Hottest Record on Radio One (sitting in for Zane) and follows the success of last single ‘Battles’ which was Zane’s Hottest Record, on the In New Music We Trust playlist as well as receiving plays from Fearne Cotton and Greg James.

The band’s EPs have now sold in excess of 30,000 copies and they have had over six million views on Youtube.

This year has seen them sell out their biggest headline show to date at London’s Electric Ballroom and entertain the crowds with their stomping singalong sets at Glastonbury and T in the Park. The band also perform at Reading/Leeds in August. Following a support slot with Jake Bugg last year, Hudson Taylor have just been announced as main support for Bugg on his UK tour in October, which takes in nine cities and culminates at Alexandra Palace on October 21^st.

They are currently finishing their debut album which is set for release early next year.
