Seafret release their wonderful new single ‘Be There‘ today, having been premiered last Wednesday on Annie Mac’s Radio 1 show.

‘Be There‘ is taken from Seafret’s forthcoming debut album, out later this year. The band add: “The track comes from a very personal place, about being there for the person that needs you most in life, no matter what – it’s about making more than a promise.”

Seafret have been making serious waves so far this year with the release of their second EP in February, entitled ‘Oceans’, which earned them Radio 1 support, 2 #1 spots on Hypemachine, ‘next big thing’ features both in print and online world and over 5.5 Million streams on Spotify so far. The video for ‘Oceans’ featured Maisie Williams from Game Of Thrones and clocked up over 1 million views on VEVO since its launch 2 months ago and has been nominated for a number of awards at this year’s European MVAs. ‘Atlantis‘ followed with the same wave of excitement and saw the band play a handful of headline UK shows in support of the release as well as slots with Jake Bugg, James Bay and Hozier.
