o THANKS is a new production duo consisting of Anders and Anders. Today they’re sharing their debut single – ‘Dizzy’. It premiered on The Line Of Best Fit, and can now be streamed below.

o Anders and Anders were members of a group that did rather well some years ago. 

o They make energetic, bouncy electronic music that draws inspiration from house, funk, and soul. 

o An extensive list of influences includes Basement Jaxx, Les Rythmes Digitales, Mark Ronson, Girl Talk and Fatboy Slim. 

o Musical chameleons who use the past to create something for the present. 

o With the name THANKS, Anders & Anders say thanks for the music they’re influenced by, thanks to the people they collaborate with and thanks to the people who listen to their music.

o THANKS put together the most creative forces of their network to make ‘Dizzy’.

o They set up four simple studios, and over the course of two days people worked together in sessions lasting no more than two hours, before swapping teams to create as many mad musical ideas as possible. 

o Having created their own record pool to sample from, Anders & Anders set about picking their favourite bits and fitting them all together as a giant musical puzzle/original mashup. 

o All the ideas where used as they were, nothing was rerecorded, and as a result the song has five different singers (and seven writers).
