Fictonian reveals new track and video “Double Negative”
This week Fictonian revealed his second track ‘Double Negative‘. This new cut shows a different side to Fictonian’s work, delivering some irrestibly sweet melodies, heartwarming lyrical ideas, whilst still maintaining the slightly off-kilter acoustic aesthetic of his debut track, ‘Full Circle Influence’.
Once again, Fictonian has given us all another slice of elegantly written and executed acoustic-based alternative pop.
The accompanying video was animated and directed by Annie Kruntcheva, a flip-book animation artist whose previous work has seen a lot of love, eventually resulting in her videos racking up nearly 100,000 hits on YouTube.
The track, and the fiendishly cute video go hand in hand brilliantly – and further cements Fictonian as one of the most exciting and forward-thinking new artists in the UK at the moment. Watch the video for ‘Double Negative’, below – which premiered on La Blogotheque earlier this week.
