Poor Bat For Lashes had a bit of trouble with her tour bus last night and couldn’t make it to Benicassim. Luckily our very own China Rats were ready in the wings to take her place.

The boys were there to play on the Villacamp stage on Wednesday evening. One of the bookers was in the crowd and was so impressed by their performance and the crowd’s reaction to it (apparently there was a rather big moshpit), they were his first port of call when Bat For Lashes couldn’t make it.

This saw the Leeds boys fill the slot on the 2nd stage, second from the top of the bill.
