Australian electronic duo Boo Seeka today reveal the video for their latest single ‘Oh My’, following their sold out Old Blue Last show in London and an appearance at Liverpool Sound City this weekend.
With more hip-hop driven beats and melodic layering, the track is an insight into what’s to come. The video premiered over on Clash, and can now be watched below.
It follows their hit singles, ‘Kingdom Leader’, ‘Deception Bay’ and ‘Fool’, which all made it into the top 200 of Triple J’s Hottest 100 countdown.
Currently, BOO SEEKA has been working in the studio with producer, Ian Pritchett, towards an album release (due out late 2016). They are currently in the midst of a run of UK and European tour dates which will be the first opportunity to taste new material from Boo Seeka.
The Sydney hip-hop-psych-soul/electronic project began as an outlet for a couple of musical experiments, a testing ground for new sounds. And it’s growing, multiplying and producing delicious sounds. Influenced by the layering and experimental beats of Major Lazer, the cool swagger of J-Dilla and The Seed 2.0’s Cody Chestnutt’s soulful vocal delivery. Boo Seeka snaps up melodies and bounces them off hip-hop/R&B driven grooves and beats that vibe.
