London’s Strong Asian Mothers blend of styles and emphatic live show has been making waves on London’s underground gig scene for a while, and now the band are about to step firmly in to the limelight. 

Today they’re sharing ‘The More That I’ – the first single to be lifted from their forthcoming debut release ‘The Lynx Africa’ EP. It premiered on Stereogum a moment ago, but can now be streamed below.

Best friends since their early years, Amer, Kalim and Josh have played in bands together throughout their childhoods but it was under Strong Asian Mothers that they really found their strength.

Blending electronic and live elements they seamlessly bridge the gap between gig and club and really bring the party. 

With their debut ‘The Lynx Africa’ EP ready for release imminently (out May 20th); Bestival, Secret Garden Party and The Great Escape already confirmed for their summer of festivals, Strong Asian Mothers are starting 2016 with a real statement of intent.
