Disarmingly raw and refreshingly honest, Winnie Raeder shares her debut single ‘Don’t You Dare’ (rel. via AE Records) and announces her first headline show at St. Pancras Old Church, London on 3rd June 2019.

A piano based track that showcases Winnie’s incredible voice, ‘Don’t You Dare’ infuses sweeping beds of harmonies and backing vocals with organic instrumentation.

On the track, Winnie quotes: “It’s about someone leaving you and the denial you feel when it happens – the utter desperation you feel at not wanting to accept that person is leaving or has gone forever. For the production it was a very conscious choice to make it as simple as possible. Thinking of the story and what’s being said, the overall sense is one of numbing. When you feel numbed, it feels like everything stops. Silence. Space. I wanted to create that feeling sonically”.

Discovered early last year, making coffee in a small cafe in Putney, a fortuitous coming together of events has lead Winnie to her destined path in music. Born and raised in Aabenraa, Denmark and now residing in London, 23 year old, singer/ songwriter Winnie Raeder prides herself on powerful and emotive story-telling.
