BBC Radio 1 have thrown their support behind the band, with multiple plays from “Why”. Praise too has come from the NME, who described the track “as emotional as it is stirring”. The band have had over one million streams on Spotify alone, whilst SBTV and Clash Magazine have supported the band too.
The product of relentless hard work and self-financed trips to play in Europe, Skinny Living are now working with some of the biggest producers around such as Jake Gosling (Ed Sheeran), Mark Ralph (Clean Bandit, Years & Years) and Steve Robson (One Direction).

Skinny Living have had a breakthrough year on the road. They’ve performed at British Summer Time in Hyde Park, supporting Justin Bieber. Other notable outings have come at Standon Calling and a two-set performance at the Edition Hotel in London which saw the band play one of their greatest gigs to date with Ryan’s vocal especially flooring the packed audience.

In the coming months the band will hit the road again with a UK tour, including a show at the Borderline in London 1st November and one huge hometown show at Unity Works in Wakefield as phenomenal demand from the initial dates caused the band to roll three small shows into one much bigger show on the city.
