New track ‘Delicate’ reintroduces Scott Quinn as an artist and songwriter with endless potential and undeniable talent.
Speaking on the song, Quinn explained ‘Delicate is about the realisation that we are all mortal and only have a short time on this earth. So rather than working yourself into the ground doing a job you don’t enjoy, prioritise the important things; family, friends and exploring your passions. Work to live, don’t live to work.’
Intelligently crafted pop music, the sumptuous, R&B drenched production is matched to some impeccable, highly motive songwriting. Remarkably mature, the music recalls everyone from The Weeknd to Nat King Cole, with Scott Quinn allowing his influences to billow out without fear of judgment.
BBC Introducing picked up on Quinn’s debut solo material off the back of a 6 track project he did whilst studying at Leeds College of Music, this led to a couple of plays of ‘I’m In Love’ on Radio 1.
