Laura Welsh has just unveiled her newest single, ‘Sex & Violence’. The track has premiered on Spin, but you can also stream it below.

Speaking about the track, Laura says “…I always write from my heart, from what I observe and most importantly what I see as the truth in experience. Creatively this has possibly been the strongest year of my life which I expect is due to much of the turbulence that has gone on…”

Having spent the summer working out of studios in London, Stockholm and LA, Laura Welsh releases her first new material since the release of debut album Soft Control back in March of this year.

Produced in London by Richard Frenneaux, Sex & Violence is an exciting and triumphant return. Pulling hope from desolation, Sex & Violence showcases Laura’s beautifully uplifting vocals with sensitivity, covering a subject that is truly personal without boundaries or hesitation.
