Having already racked up over a million streams on Spotify for new single ‘Call Me Over’, Dusky Grey today release the video to accompany the track. Having made a huge impact with their debut single ‘Told Me’ (over 9 million streams on Spotify and counting) Welsh pop duo Dusky Grey followed up the release with the infectious and effervescent ‘Call Me Over’. It’s since gone on to captivate BBC Introducing and will be Radio 1’s ‘Track of the Week’ as of August 12th. ‘Call Me Over’ is out now through East West / Warner Music Group.

Speaking about the track they explain “The song is basically about acknowledging that someone is bad for you and taking the necessary steps to rid yourself of who you feel may be toxic. And with that finding the people who become your support system.”

Having independently released their debut single ‘Told Me’ late last year nothing could have prepared Gethin Williams and Catrin Hopkins aka Dusky Grey for the pace with which ‘Told Me’ would gather.

Clocking over 9 million streams on Spotify, the track has garnered the support of Radio 1 DJ’s Adele Roberts, Cel Spellman and Danny Howard, Apple Music, BBC Introducing in Wales and Merseyside, video play from Sunday Brunch and online support from the likes of tastemakers Pop Justice. The latter having heard a preview of ‘Call Me Over’ said “what’s exciting here is that we’ve had a listen to what’s likely to be the band’s next single and there seems to be something quite exciting happening here.” Dusky Grey have subsequently signed to East West / Warner Music Group.

Dusky Grey wrote their debut ‘Told Me’ during their third meeting together in September 2016. Catrin first got in touch with Gethin after chancing upon some of his music on Instagram and was suitably impressed to contact him via Facebook. It took another year before the duo decided to meet in person and then Dusky Grey was formed.
