Brought up in the cultural hot-bed of New York City, Hannah’s early exposure to the innovative and experimental creativity of the East Village, helped mould her into the artist she is today. Since moving back to the UK, a number of months and many late nights have been spent creating, and refining a sound of her own. Unashamedly inspired by the London contemporary pop scene – Hannah’s work with fellow songwriter Andrea Rocha has resulted in a stunning debut EP entitled ‘Hide and Go Seek’, which is out now.

According to Hannah, new song ‘Hide And Go Seek’…”is about a guy who plays hard to get, when you aren’t interested in playing games at all. It’s kind of a plea to stop dancing around the fact that you both like each other, and to just take a risk and go for it.”

Waves of scintillating synth work combine with warm electronic percussion touches to offer up an iridescent backdrop for Hannah to eloquently explain exactly how she’s feeling via her impassioned, powerful vocals. It’s another perfect showcase of Hannah Jane Lewis’ unwavering capability to deliver a truly stunning electronic pop track, and is the most apt way to culminate her first trio of releases.

Navigating the complexities of relationships in her lyrics, Hannah’s sound seamlessly switches between dark, introspective undertones, and playful electronic pop. Letting her life influence her lyrics, Hannah’s debut EP encompasses a variety of influences, sounds, and experiences – and will no doubt be the start of a very exciting year ahead.

Hannah Jane Lewis is already preparing for her next release, along with putting work into her live show which is set to be unveiled before the end of the year.
