The ‘Midnight’ EP delivers buoyant, beat driven, feelgood pop. Seamlessly fusing together dreamy electronic atmospheres with guitar lead melodies, as Zac’s compelling vocal talks about the countless phases of a lasting relationship.

Zac Said about the ‘Midnight’ EP “I wanted to make music that’s a little more feel good, that sounds and feels like positivity, no matter how emotionally tough the subject matter. Although a couple of the songs touch on heavy topics like identity and longing, music has such an amazing power to make people feel happy when they’re sad, sad when they’re happy and I believe it’s almost our duty as artists right now to use that power and provide people with something uplifting after such a challenging year.

He continued to talk about the lead single “Midnight is about being apart from someone you love and longing to be with them. For whatever reason the world is telling you to let go, but you know that what you’ve found is too good to give up and turn your back on.”

Zac’s music to date has garnered support from BBC Introducing and been playlisted by Spotify UK, boasting an impressive 50k monthly listeners across their platform following the release of his debut EP ‘Early Hours’ in 2020, tracks from the EP also enjoyed major global syncs on cult UK TV shows Love Island and TOWIE. Online support also continues to build with each release with plaudits coming in from the likes of Popjustice, Clash, Clout, Acid Stag and When The Horn Blows to name but a few.

In 2020 Zac Co-wrote McFly’s “Wild and Young” from the band’s chart-topping album ‘Young Dumb Thrills’, he has also co-written tracks with Major Lazer, Mr Eazi, Raye, Danny Jones, NUUXS, Dusky Grey and continues to collaborate.

A seasoned performer with 5 years gigging in London pubs and on the apres-ski circuit in the Swiss alps under his belt, Zac looks forward to returning to the live circuit a soon as venues re-open. Until then, Zac continues to entertain audiences with online shows via Instagram and HOTVOX listening parties, a series of online shows that have been designed to shine a spotlight on grassroots artists during this time of unprecedented restrictions on culture and live events.
