The Divine Comedy release the second single from their acclaimed forthcoming album ‘Foreverland’, the brilliant ‘How Can You Leave Me On My Own’ is out today with an impact date of October 7th.

Written, produced and arranged by Neil Hannon, the song was described by Mojo in their 4* album review as “a cracking 70’s pop-influenced expose of man-home-alone foibles.’

The accompanying video was directed by French filmmaker Raphaël Neal and features amongst other highlights Neil riding a bicycle through a French chateau whilst dressed as Napoleon.

You can check the video out over on Brooklyn Vegan, or below.

Foreverland is the eleventh studio album from The Divine Comedy, and is already receiving rave reviews, with Mojo commenting “Funny, learned and poignant by turns, Foreverland is a masterfully-arranged, part-chamber-pop record” and Q concluding their 4* review by declaring ‘Foreverland truly excels’.

The Divine Comedy tour the UK in October 2016 with further shows in the UK and Ireland in February 2017. Tickets have been selling fast, with many shows already sold out.
