Swedish indie-pop artist Esther Vallee today (Friday 13th April) releases a live studio version of her latest single ‘Hardcore’.

Speaking about the recording, Esther explains, “The acoustic ‘Hardcore’ version and video was recorded in the ‘Svenska Grammofonstudio. It felt unreal to spend some time in this legendary studio. Especially to record it live with my band and together we actually improvised this version on the spot. This is the result. ”

Esther Vallee made a welcome return with the release of ‘Hardcore’ on February 23rd, through Warner Music Sweden. A powerful juggernaut of a pop song, ‘Hardcore’ is world-class pop that will have you hocked within seconds.

The 24 year-old from Gothenburg, Sweden follows up on her previous single release ‘Numbers‘ which came out at the end of October and saw an influx of online support as well as topping the airplay charts at Swedish national radio station P3. She recently made her UK live debut at the Vice Party at Sebright Arms as well as performances at showcase festival By:Larm in Oslo.

Speaking about Hardcore, Esther exclaims – “I hope everyone listening to the song will get as much power from it as I do. For me, to be hardcore means to be unbeatable and let yourself be driven by what you want the most. To not escape the hard things in life, but instead dare to be hardcore on home turf.”
Esther Vallee will make her UK live debut at the Vice Party at Sebright Arms on March 6th – a show not to be missed – and will also be performing at showcase festival By:Larm in Oslo playing March 1st @Krösset and March 2nd @ Mono.
