Rory Graham, AKA Rag’n’Bone Man returns with his long awaited new single Human, out now on Columbia Records / Best Laid Plans. This brand new offering explores the powerhouse singer’s own expression of mortal vulnerability, set to a stark chain-gang rhythm whilst encapsulating Graham’s peculiar contradictions: his strength and gentleness.

The new track premiered over on SBTV, and you now catch it below.

In person, Rory is the exact definition of a gentle giant. His appearance suggests something serious. A big man, bearded and with tattoos, but instead of “Hate and Love”, he has the words “Soul and Funk” inked across his knuckles. A conveyor of myriad human emotions, themes of romance, pain and people run clear through Human and Rory’s impending future track’s, which will eventually conclude in the form of his debut album out early next year.

Having sold out a career defining show at The Village Underground in celebration of his collaborative Cadenza track Healed last month, Rory is currently in the midst of an extensive summer festival tour. With storming sets at The Great Escape, Glastonbury plus many more already under his belt, Rory is now set to bring his staggering vocal mastery to a plethora of further festival dates in the coming weeks. The title track from his 2014 Wolves EP (featuring guest vocals from Vince Staples, Stig Of The Dump and Kate Tempest) is currently featured on the opening titles of the BBC’s new hit drama, New Blood. Guilty (taken from the same EP) is also featured on the trailer for the new series of Orange Is The New Black. More brand new music will follow in the coming months and the debut album from Rag’n’Bone Man will be released early next year.
