Josh Beech is a talented young singer/songwriter from Bromley, South East London, and his debut solo EP ‘Fight Strong’ is set for release on 16th October 2016 via Skeleton Party Records.

Subtle folk influences shine through in glorious fashion on this – his first official release, with exquisitely arranged instrumentals providing the perfect backdrop for Josh’s dulcet tones. His unique brand of folk/Americana-infused indie rock is one that is undoubtedly going to appeal to a lot of people.
Known for his catchy songwriting, unique vocal style and commanding on-stage presence, Josh has spent his career dabbling in multiple genres, from hardcore punk to electro-infused pop. Fast forward to 2015, and Josh Beech’s musical evolution is now culminating in a new focus, the debut of his first solo recordings and live shows – rooted in soulful rock-inspired songwriting.
Alongside his musical talent, Beech is also an established model. After been scouted at a festival in 2007, he was shortly after enlisted to be part of a campaign for Burberry. Rapid bookings followed thereafter, including a record three campaigns for Levi’s 501 jeans, as well as the cover of Vogue Hommes International, which was shot by Hedi Slimane. His client list has since expanded to include John Galliano, Valentino, Thierry Mugler, H&M, Moschino, Diesel, Givenchy, Topman, and Tommy Hilfiger, among many others.
However, music is where his heart undoubtedly lies. Debut solo EP ‘Fight Strong’ – was recorded over a month with Erik Kertes in Los Angeles. Drawing influences from the likes of Jeff Buckley, Jack White, Paul Simon, Deftones, Nirvana and more – the EP is a bold step forward for Beech.
The lyrical themes on the EP are quite varied and wonderfully relatable – painting a picture of a young man who has experienced a lot – but is perhaps now at a stage in his life where he’s settled – comfortable to be himself, and eager to fight to achieve great things.
This debut EP is surely going to be the start of something very special.
