London based, singer songwriter FERGUS, releases his debut EP ‘Purple Road’ on October 25th through Goldun Egg Records. The 7 Track EP features lead single ‘Nobody Knows’, previous singles ‘You Or Nothing’, ‘Sinking’ and ‘Willow’, along with three additional brand new tracks ‘Fool’, ‘Crutches’ and ‘What You Gonna Do’. All tracks were produced by, Jake Gosling (Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga, The Libertines).

The ‘Purple Road’ EP delivers a journey of emotional turmoil, that revels in the beauty of melancholy. FERGUS picks over the bones of fractured relationships, self-doubt and heartache to unearth the occasional glimmer of hope that keeps us captivated from start to finish.

Speaking about the EP, FERGUS said: ‘The Purple Road’ navigates a journey of complex emotions and enabled an unburning of emotional torment… I also wanted this collection of songs to convey a kind of toughness that only comes from being constantly vulnerable.

A heritage steeped in music, provided a much-needed outlet for FERGUS to channel strong emotions from an early age. His formative years were spent singing and touring professionally with choirs and playing ‘cello’ with orchestras.  NOW, after a few years of reflection, solid songwriting and finding his sound, FERGUS is launching his solo career with the Purple Road EP.
