Editors release a further track from their Top 5 UK album, ‘In Dream’, on 11th December. The band, whose sell out UK tour reiterated their continued presence as one of the UK’s biggest and most vital musical forces, continue their extensive live work with dates across mainland Europe to Christmas, crossing a host of countries where the album replicated or surpassed its UK success, putting Editors in at #7 in Switzerland, 11 in Germany and Italy and at Number One in the Netherlands and Belgium.

‘Ocean Of Night’ is one of three tracks on the album which feature vocals from Slowdive and Minor Victories Rachel Goswell, the first Editors tracks to feature any voices from outside the band. The video, filmed at the band’s sold out show at Dublin Olympia, has just been revealed via a premiere with Billboard in the USA and can be seen below.

As with all visuals from ‘In Dream’, it was conceived and directed by renowned photographer and visual artist Rahi Rezvani, the creator of the films for ‘No Harm’, ‘Marching Orders’ and ‘Life Is A Fear’ and the artwork for the album. ‘In Dream’ has seen Editors gather praise for an uncompromising and stark artistic statement, leaving behind the straight rock of previous album ‘The Weight Of Your Love’ for an album that saw MOJO throw 4 stars at its ‘experimental pop remit’, the Evening Standard do similar whilst declaring of the band ‘their palette is broadened still further by a new lightness of touch to go with the old depth’ and The Sun get straight to the point by announcing the album as ‘wonderful, thoughtful stuff’.

‘Ocean Of Night’ is released by Play It Again Sam on 11th December as a download.
‘In Dream’ is available now on Double Gatefold Vinyl, CD and download.
